Typhoon Dujuan - Hope Everyone in Japan is ok

Hi All, Looks like Typhoon Dujuan is hitting Japan Tokyo areas really hard. Hope everyone in Japan is doing well and being safe. Prayers to all.

I am in the UK at the moment - already counting the days to come back. But one of my subscribers and a poster here, Ken, has just returned from Tokyo before the worst hit.

Ken bought his akiya in Chiba , I hope in part inspired by my channel :-) Perhaps he will comment here.

I just checked current news, it's a Tokyo-side storm this time — it came up past the Izu Islands and Chiba and is heading out east past Hokkaido.

So Kyushu at least is safe from this one.

Typhoon season is the one thing I do worry about with an empty house. Fingers crossed for everyone in Kanto tonight.

I have arranged for house insurance to start in December and I also have storm shutter doors on ground level at least. I made a video how I secured the house from the storms when I left, it will come on the channel at some point.
